<h3 class="wp-block-heading">1. Irregular meal timings </h3>



<p>Your body works on very specific &#8216;clocks&#8217;, thus meaning its used to secreting hormones / enzymes at specific times, thus when you have erratic meals you can put the body in &#8217;emergency&#8217; as it wasn&#8217;t expecting food. <h3 class="wp-block-heading">2. Poor Sleep </h3>



<p>This will 100% screw your weight loss and lead you to high cravings, poor mood and weight gain. </p>

<p>Many ladies believe that &#8216;more is better&#8217; when it comes to exercise. WRONG.<br>that&#8217;s just the basic level fitness industry telling you that. When we use real science you actually can do LESS and get more weight loss. We just have to track your recovery.</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><br>4. You haven&#8217;t accepted where you are</h3>



<p>This is crucial. Most of you are rushing away from the &#8216;pain&#8217; you feel of your current situation</p>



<p>Thats why we use the A.R.A. Method to help you release the past anger, shame and guilt associated with the current situation. You will never be happen in your body if you can&#8217;t be happy with it now.</p>

<p>Not just drinking more water like the fitness industry tell you, but proper cellular hydration. This comes from ionic trace minerals and food you consume.</p>

<p>So many that come to us have gut issues, diabetes and other metabolic issues. These are messing up crucial pathways in the body and make weight loss much harder.</p>

<p>Think of this as the master switch to all your cells. When its off, you are off.</p>



<p>That could be mentally or physically. </p>



<p>Your circadian rhythm is regulated by<strong> light, food &amp; movement</strong>. Making sure they are all at the correct times is vital.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">8. You continue to reinforce a story that doesn&#8217;t serve you (without even knowing sometimes)</h3>



<p>This might be putting yourself down around friends or family, it might be when you look in the mirror or try on clothes.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">9. You believe restriction is needed to get results</h3>



<p>Most ladies are so used to restrictive diets that if they see something that isn&#8217;t that, unconsciously dismiss it.<br>Its important you get over the &#8216;it has to be paleo, vegan, keto to lose weight.&#8217;</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">10. You believe will power and motivation will be enough.</h3>



<p>Nope, not even a little bit.</p>

<p>Think about how many times </p>

<p>If you struggle with:</p>



<ul class="wp-block-list"><li>Gut issues</li><li>Headaches</li><li>Skin issues</li><li>Autoimmune</li><li>Other inflammatory issues</li></ul>



<p>Your focus should be on what we call the the<strong> Top Down Approach.</strong></p>



<p>You have to make sure&#8230;</p>



<p></p>

<p>If you are lucky to still have this, the production and flow of bile is essential.</p>



<p>With poor flow, you will become deficient in fat soluble vitamins.</p>



<p>Meaning you will struggle with sex hormone production (and any day based hormones)</p>

<p>4. Intestinal valve issues.</p>



<p>When the above is present you are at greater risk of SIBO, a condition when you have a reflow of bacteria into the small intestine.</p>



<p>If this is you, you’ll find that HIGH FODMAP foods will be a real struggle for you.</p>

<p>5. Immune barrier (leaky gut)</p>



<p>Many practitioners try to fix this issue first and it’s pointless if you don’t address the above issues.</p>



<p>Moreover, you have to ensure your immune system is working well.</p>



<p>If you are reacting to lots of foods, have skin issues, migraines and such like,</p>



<p>Calming the immune response becomes upmost important.</p>

<p>6. Microbiome Diversity.</p>



<p>We are 100% that the diversity of the microbiome is shrinking in the western world.</p>



<p>Low diversity is associated to more diseases than I can write here.</p>



<p>When we eat the same meals all the time,</p>



<p>Have low fibre diets</p>



<p>Drink alcohol in excess</p>



<p>Don’t sleep well&#8230;</p>



<p>All negativity effect microbiome health.</p>

<p>7. Chronic infections (large intestine)</p>



<p>Your large intestine is home to a huge array of diverse bacteria / yeast and much more.</p>



<p>However, when we get stressed, get travel illnesses, over exercise, have a poor diet.</p>



<p>We fail to protect ourselves from infections, both bacterial and parasites.</p>



<p>I could write 10 more with ease but hopefully you get the idea why so many people struggle to lose weight</p>

<p>(The Plan Our Client Used) </p>



<p>Before we start I want to tell you a little about this client. </p>



<p>She is from New Zealand, in her late 30&#8217;s and has an autoimmune disease. </p>



<p>She has worked with doctors, naturopaths, personal trainers and more. </p>



<p>(And none of them technically did anything wrong) </p>



<p>All she ever sees is weight loss start to happen, then it just seems to magically stop without explanation. </p>



<p>This obviously leads to confusion and frustration&#8230;&#8230;which leads to then eating and drinking things that are a problem for her. </p>



<p>When she was referred to me, I made it clear that the reason she hasn&#8217;t succeeded was because she was doing things BACKWARDS.</p>



<p>She looked a little confused and also a little frustrated because I was telling her almost the opposite to everyone else. </p>



<p>I told her to take a week OFF exercise and just walk, as an example. </p>



<p>So, with the above in mind you should really make sure you have someone that gives you a SPECIFIC plan that fits you and your history. </p>



<p>Not everyone&#8217;s weight loss journey will be the same. </p>



<p>So, lets start. </p>



<p><strong>1. We perfected her sleep. </strong></p>



<p>She was not sleeping through the night and this is a big issue for weight loss. When you wake during the night (several times for many), this plays havoc with blood sugars, which messes with your hunger signalling, thus making your choices not great. </p>



<p>Sleep is also VERY important when you want to feel good mentally. </p>



<p>So, our first thing was sleeping through, even though she hadn&#8217;t done it for a LONG time. </p>

<p><strong>2. The Top Down Approach. </strong></p>



<p>Many believe just because they eat food that they can automatically digest, absorb and use those nutrients. </p>



<p>If you are heavily overweight or obese, these symptoms become impaired. </p>



<p>Thus, I start by making sure the brain and gut are signalling properly. We use exercises like chewing food 20 times per mouthful, gargling, humming etc. </p>



<p>Then we check the right levels of stomach acid and enzymes. </p>



<p>If these things are off, you will end up with gut issues, bloating, pain and infections likely. </p>

<p><strong>3. Movement.</strong></p>



<p>Many either do nothing or WAY too much. This client was doing WAY too much and this was stopping her losing weight. </p>



<p>So, first we got her to take a whole week off training and just go for light walks each day. </p>



<p>Then the rule is, you can exercise as much as you like as long as you 100% recover by the next day. </p>



<p>No 2-3 days of soreness allowed. </p>



<p>On the other side, people sit on their arse a lot.</p>



<p> This is bad for blood flow and circulation. </p>



<p>You have to move your body, just not too much. </p>



<p>Exercise actually plays a tiny role in weight loss. </p>

<p><strong>4. Mindset.</strong></p>



<p>This will make or break you. </p>



<p>If you don&#8217;t have a personalised plan to follow, your old habits will WIN. </p>



<p>You will justify the poor foods, the extra wine and booze etc. That&#8217;s why Day 2 of the challenge is a MUST for change. </p>

<p><strong>5. Diet.</strong></p>



<p>The right one for you. </p>



<p>People argue if vegan, keto, paleo, low carb / high carb are the best for fat loss. Its dumb. </p>



<p>Based on assessments we do, we can tell you were to start and how to change it as your body gets healthier. </p>



<p>A diet for someone with autoimmune is different to a diet for someone with neurological issues or someone with diabetes. </p>



<p>We can just say that eat this and eat that.</p>



<p>Sure, good quality vegetables you tolerate are quite universal but the amount of starchy carbs, protein &amp; fat will vary depending on your health. </p>



<p>Now, this is just 5 of the things we changed for our client to get a <strong><em>9 kg weight loss</em></strong>, even after a LONG TIME of not being able to lose.</p>



<p><strong>As you can see, I didn&#8217;t mention shakes, supplements or other quick fixes</strong>. </p>



<p>In fact, this will work way after she finishes. </p>



<p>Even our client Octavia told us she has lost 7kg since she finished with us 2 months ago. </p>



<p>You don&#8217;t need hand holding forever!</p>
