Ive been there, its frustrating when you don’t feel in control of your own body. I had over 20 years of it.
its become my mission to educate myself and others of how to empower themselves in life and health and today i want to share a little on ‘health’ with you.
Now, depending how long you have been following me you might not quite know the depths of my knowledge and experience. I’m far from someone the brag about results for the most part but…
Over the years we’ve helped 7 people have ‘impossible’ babies aka they had up to 6 failed rounds of IVF, multiple miscarriages.
People remove PMS and have periods that they even didn’t realise were happening, until well, they did.
People off anti-depressants after 23+ years and doing just fine.
People off life long medication for auto-immune issues.
People free of IBS after 10+ years of constant pain, energy and mood issues…
I’m just getting started.
Here’s is what is important, I will NEVER claim to treat or cure anything, its just not what is required and its above my ‘station’ so to speak.
Over the 10 years of sorting out my own physical health mess and helping hundreds of people all over the globe, I’ve searched out, learnt from and implemented multiple disciplines.

Here’s my ‘thing’, I’m not a specialist in anyone area and that is a conscious choice.
I personally haven’t seen one method that really can help all things.
What I have ‘mastered’ if it is anything is realising what a persons body requires in the moment.
Now I think we can all agree that if a person is in a car accident, they don’t need some sage smudged over them, they need emergency care, right?
Yet, does every symptom require a pill or conventional care?
Not in my eyes.
The human body is AMAZING, I have witnessed it first hand come out of the very worst and destructive places.
Now, I am not playing your ‘doctor’ here, I have no interest to learn a profession has 10 minutes for an appointment and only advice it to refer or write a prescription.
I have nothing against doctors, they go into the profession to HELP people like you and me, I have a issue with the boundaries that confine them and their choices.
Did you know on average after something is PROVEN affect through double blind, clinical studies that it can take 15 YEARS to become available to the public….
C’mon…we can do way better than that, right?
I am not saying I have all the answers, that’s a dangerous mindset to adopt in any arena in life. What I am saying is that I have a way that when applied can hand the power back to you.
When you understand the 3 main systems of the body (how I see them), how they work, interact and create results in the REST of the body, you take your power back.
I have literally used this with EVERY client that got the results you read about above.
The best bit is that there is no big health claims I will make, I wont even tell you that it will make you feel better. I just let you decide if it makes sense to you and then you can make the choice to change or not.
The last thing I think we need is ANOTHER way to eat, another way to exercise or diet.
Lets take something SIMPLE like weight loss for instance, all the PT’s / health coaches and dieticians tell you eat less calories, move more.
Makes sense…
Yet, what if you actually really don’t like yourself? Is it possible that people emotionally eat to find comfort. YEP. Thus calories will be higher but they are a result, not the cause.
What if you have hidden inflammation and infections that you got from the ‘dodgy tummy’ you got on holiday that is affected HOW you feel hungry or full
YES weight loss is simple but ill be honest, people KNOW that eating less processed food is a good idea and eating more fresh food is a good idea.
BUT HELLO
Why is obesity, diabetes and other lifestyle related diseases skyrocketing?
I personally believe that when you have the combination of the right mindset and understand the 3 system triangle, you have a map to success and self empowerment.
The 3 system triangle of the gut, blood sugars and adrenals is what will empower you, that way you start to see why going to a ‘hormone balancing coach’ is pointless.
A few facts that you might not know about the 3 systems and WHY you will want to learn more about them…
The GUT:
– Around 75% of the immune system is IN or around the gut, its the first line of defence for the body and when its disturbed it will affect levels inflammation throughout the body.
– It has its OWN nervous system called the enteric nervous system, its important to know this has MORE nerves than the spinal colomb and also has nerve called the vagus nerve that has direct contact wit the brain. (why the gut is often referred to as the second brain)
– There are over 400 known types of bacteria in the gut that all have quite specific functions. When imbalanced due to long term high stress, infections or low level inflammation, they can imbalance the immune system and other systems.
– Every neurotransmitter (think serotonin) that has been found in the brain has also been found to have receptor cites in the GUT. Ever wonder why when your tummy feels off, so is your mood?
BLOOD SUGARS:
To be clear the body does a very good job at keeping your level of glucose in the blood in VERY tight ranges and if it didn’t it literally would be deadly. However, this doesn’t mean that people struggle with fluctuations and resistance issues which lead to disease like diabetes.
– Diet has a big affect on you blood sugars, very basically put if you have a highly processed diet of simple sugars and sugary drinks, you will likely feel on a rollercoaster most of the day with your energy. Likely have low energy issues around 2pm, 4pm and 6pm.
– Stress from emotional situations that become chronic and stress from inflammation, infections and even long term injury can imbalance your blood sugars which will lead to higher stress in the body.
– Poor sleep has been shown to contribute to poor blood sugar management and higher levels of glucose in the blood.
ADRENALS:
In the ‘holistic’ world the term ‘adrenal fatigue’ has become a common phrase thrown around. Sadly there really isn’t much good evidence to show its a ‘thing’. YET, there is evidence of adrenal suppression, which in part is signalled and controlled by the (internal & external) environment and your brain. (its complex so not going to go deep here).
Your adrenals are VERY important and without them you would die. YET they do not control myself so before you go to someone for a ‘adrenal health protocol’ we have to KNOW and control WHAT they are being told.
Healthy adrenals will see you sleep better, have a higher sex drive and manage your weight and blood pressure better.
